Gran Colombia de Aviación (GCA Airlines), one of the newest carriers to enter the Colombian domestic market, and Sabre Corporation, signed a new distribution agreement to drive revenue growth while expanding into new market segments. The multi-year agreement will enable the delivery of relevant and meaningful content to Sabre-connected agencies.
«Our daily motivation is to successfully mobilize thousands of dreams across the Colombian skies. We are delighted to partner with Sabre, a trusted technology partner, as it will enable us to achieve our growth objectives and improve our distribution metrics through Sabre’s leading global distribution system (GDS). Having a robust distribution platform is key to our future growth,» said Andrés Felipe Botero, legal representative of Gran Colombia de Aviación.
Gary Stone, Vice President of Select Airline Accounts for Sabre Travel Solutions, said, «We are pleased that Gran Colombia has selected Sabre’s GDS. By connecting the airline to our affluent global travel market, this new agreement will allow it to promote its offerings and expand its presence across the region through Sabre’s extensive network.»
GCA Airlines was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Cali, Colombia, from where it operates a network that reaches Cartagena, Barranquilla, Cucuta, Pereira, San Andres, and Bucaramanga.
