Swiss started the installation of the new Premium Economy seats on the first Boeing 777-300ER registered with the registration number HB-JNH which was delivered to the airline in 2017, the aircraft is already in the airline’s hangars in Zurich (ZRH).
The Swiss flag carrier will be the first member of the Lufthansa Group to get the new generation of Premium Economy seats, which will soon be installed in selected widebody aircraft of the group. Swiss plans to install this new product on twelve Boeing 777-300ERs, five Airbus A340-300s and nine Airbus A330-300s.

Expected to complete installation of this new product on all Boeing 777-300ERs by the end of May, the aircraft will now have a seating capacity of 320 seats in 4 classes configured as follows: 8 First Class, 62 Business Class, 24 Premium Economy and 226 Economy.
Swiss is the main premium brand of Lufthansa Group, with this new product the company will offer a seat with more space, more comfort and more privacy to offer a pleasant travel experience to its customers. The seats were designed and manufactured by ZIM Aircraft Seating.
