As part of the 2022 edition of EBACE taking place in Geneva, Switzerland, Boeing announced agreements with Gama Aviation, Comlux Group and Luxavation companies, for the provision of in-house manufactured digital services.

Agreement with Gama Aviation

The British company, which provides aeronautical services to individuals, companies and government agencies, will incorporate the ForeFlight Dispatch system into its operations planning. This is a web-based, cloud-native flight planning tool that offers advanced capabilities in an intuitive interface and designed with a focus on the work of flight dispatchers and staff involved in route planning.

The technology enables the archiving and monitoring of flight plans. It is capable of drawing complex routes, considering airspace restrictions and other developments. ForeFlight Dispatch produces routes that are optimized and validated by Eurocontrol, the European organization for air traffic management in the continent.

The system’s automation streamlines processes, reduces planning time and allows adaptation to different operating conditions. The information produced is customizable and can be delivered to crews through ForeFlight Mobile, its mobile application version.

Furthermore, Gama Aviation, which already uses Boeing-owned Jeppesen’s navigation and mapping services, will become one of the first European customers to join the «ForeFlight′s Development Partnership Program», an initiative that offers the opportunity to collaborate on future innovations in the flight operations software under development.

«After careful consideration and extensive evaluation, we concluded that the ForeFlight flight planning solution was the best fit for the Gama operation», said Paul Cremer, head of Business Aviation Delivery at Gama Aviation.

Agreement with Comlux Group

The Swiss company, which provides aircraft management and operation services, already uses Boeing’s mapping and NavData solutions. As a result of the agreement, it will adopt ForeFlight’s suite of integrated products to replace its existing flight planning tools with integrated ones from a single supplier.

This includes the mobile version of ForeFlight, which will allow crews to receive flight plans and detailed documents within seconds. This will enable them to get real-time synchronized data and reduce workload.

«With ForeFlight, we maximize efficiency and minimize complexity of our worldwide fleet management, while offering the best operational service to our VIP customers», said Andrea Zanetto, COO of Comlux Group.

Agreement with Luxaviation

The largest European-based operator of business aircraft and charter services will also expand its partnership with Boeing. The Luxembourg-based company will incorporate the full range of ForeFlight products into its operations.

This will include ForeFlight Dispatch for flight planning, ForeFlight Mobile EFB with integrated Jeppesen charts, ForeFlight Runway Analysis for takeoff and landing performance calculations, and ForeFlight Fuel Advisor for fuel usage planning and optimization.

«We are very proud, after years of working together, to be able to introduce ForeFlight throughout our group and globally, fixed wing and helicopters, from New Zealand to Mexico and from Scandinavia to South Africa», commented Patrick Hansen, CEO of Luxaviation Group.
