ITA Airways inaugurates flights to Los Angeles

This Wednesday (1) at 9:40 a.m. local time, ITA Airways‘ inaugural flight from Rome took off for Los Angeles. Operations will be carried out on Airbus A350-900s, with capacity for 314 passengers.

The Italian company will fly once a day between the two cities. With this schedule, ITA will offer 2,198 seats per week on each leg.

Los Angeles is ITA Airways’ fourth destination in the United States. The airline operates from Rome to Boston, Miami and New York, and the Milan – New York (JFK) route, all with Airbus A330-200s.

This is the first scheduled flight of ITA’s Airbus A350-900s. Los Angeles and Buenos Aires will be, for the time being, the routes of the aforementioned aircraft.
