This Thursday (August 4), JetBlue inaugurated flights between Boston (BOS) and London – Gatwick (LGW), the carrier’s first transatlantic service from Logan International Airport (BOS) and third route in the United Kingdom.
«As Boston’s largest airline, adding this nonstop service to Gatwick will only make us more relevant in our New England focus city and introduce JetBlue to a largely underserved market,» said Robin Hayes, JetBlue’s chief executive officer.
Flight B6 2104 was operated by an Airbus A321LR registered as N4058J, the aircraft took off from Logan International Airport (BOS) at 19:06 local time and landed at Gatwick Airport (LGW) at 06:13 the following day.

Data obtained by Aviacionline through the Civil Aviation Authority UK (CAA) indicates that 221,024 passengers were flown between London Gatwick (LGW) and Boston (BOS) in 2019, currently JetBlue is the only airline operator on this route.

- Boston – London Gatwick Flight B6 2104 BOS 18:37 – LGW 06:35+1 daily flights.
- London Gatwick – Boston Flight B6 1926 LGW 12:25 – BOS 15:13 daily flights.
Flights are operated on Airbus Airbus A321LR aircraft with a 138-seat capacity in two classes (24 Mint Suites/114 Economy) and promotional fares are available from USD 539 roundtrip.

Growing JetBlue’s Atlantic
Last year JetBlue launched its first transatlantic operations from New York (JFK) to Heathrow (LHR) and Gatwick (LGW), London’s main airports. The airline will continue to grow its UK presence with new service from Logan International Airport (BOS) to Heathrow (LHR) from September 20, 2022.
In addition to further expand its offer Gatwick (LGW) from October 29, 2022 adds a second daily flight from New York (JFK). According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, JetBlue will offer 9,660 seats per week in 70 flight operations.
