Avianca to fly between San Salvador and Las Vegas

Avianca continues to expand international connectivity in Central America with a new non-stop service between San Salvador (SAL) and Las Vegas (LAS). With this new route,  Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) will be connected with five Latin American cities.

We are very pleased to add such a strategic destination as Las Vegas to our network. We know that there are many Salvadorans who enjoy the great fun that this destination offers, as well as we have a large community of Salvadorans who need more and better non-stop connectivity options to visit El Salvador“, said Rolando Damas, Avianca’s Sales Director for North America, Central America and the Caribbean.

With this new route, Avianca will provide 14 destinations in North America. The current schedule has services to Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Washington – Dulles (IAD), Houston – Intercontinental (IAH), New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), Ontario (ONT), San Francisco (SFO) in the United States, Toronto – Pearson (YYZ) in Canada; Mexico City (MEX) and soon to be added to the network: Boston (BOS), Orlando (MCO) and Cancun (CUN).

San Salvador (SAL) is the second most important Central American destination in the U.S., behind only Panama – Tocumen (PTY).

Avianca’s new route will reinforce the Latin American connectivity of Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), which by mid-July will have flights to Mexico City (MEX), Guadalajara (GDL), Monterrey (MTY), Panama – Tocumen (PTY) and soon San Salvador (SAL).
