Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, the UK’s premier tour operator and third largest airline, have unveiled their latest growth strategy with the establishment of a base at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, marking their 11th UK airport.
Summer 2024: 20 Destinations On Sale
In response to a surge in customer demand, 20 sunshine destinations are up for sale for Summer 2024 from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. This includes seven destinations exclusive to Jet2 from Liverpool, with the inaugural Jet2.com flight scheduled for 28th March 2024.
Liverpool’s first summer of operations will see Jet2 manage up to 54 weekly flights, including 12 flights each to the Canary and Balearic Islands, offering a total of 565,000 seats within that period.

Impact on the Region: Jobs and Investments
The introduction of Jet2 at Liverpool John Lennon Airport will imply the creation of over 200 jobs across flight deck, cabin crew, engineering, and ground operations.
Jet2.com, UK’s third largest airline, has a fleet of 119 aircraft flying to over 68 destinations. Jet2holidays, which started in 2007, is now the UK’s largest tour operator with an ATOL licence to carry 5.86 million passengers.
