Over the first six months, the total passenger count reached 34.1 million, a 20.4% increase over the same period last year.

In terms of air cargo, LATAM reported a 5% growth in ton-kilometer compared to the same month in 2022. So far in the first half of 2023, the figure is 6.4% higher.

Furthermore, LATAM announced the launch of seven new routes, notably the itinerary between Bogotá and Orlando, which is part of a business agreement with Delta Air Lines; a brand new daily service connecting Lima and Caracas; and the new connection between Lima and Havana, available from October 29 onwards.

The air cargo sector received a significant boost with the incorporation of the 18th Boeing 767-300BCF into its fleet. This new aircraft has allowed the company to strengthen its presence in the competitive air cargo market, particularly enhancing the flow of exports and imports in various regions.
