Norse Atlantic Airways to fly between Los Angeles and Paris

Norse Atlantic Airways launched the sale of tickets on its new route that will connect Los Angeles with Paris.

The inaugural flight is scheduled for May 1, 2024. With six weekly frequencies (does not operate on Tuesdays), services will depart from Paris-CDG at 16:15 to arrive in Los Angeles (LAX) at 19:05, from where they will take off at 21:10, arriving in the French capital at 17:00 the next day. Fares start from 319 euros in Economy and 665 euros in Premium.

The route is operated on Boeing 787-9 aircraft with a capacity of 338 seats in two classes (56 Premium Economy/282 Economy).

In addition to Los Angeles, in the United States Norse Atlantic also operates in New York, Fort Lauderdale (in the process of moving to Miami), Miami, Orlando, Washington, San Francisco, and Boston. Its European network reaches Oslo, London, Berlin, Rome, and Paris, and is complemented by Montego Bay in Jamaica, Barbados, and Bangkok.

Norse Atlantic will face stiff competition in the market between Paris and Los Angeles, dominated by Air France with 23 weekly flights, followed by Delta Air Lines with a daily flight, French Bee with 6 weekly flights (in Orly) and Air Tahiti Nui with 5 (as part of a fifth freedom service).

Currently, Norse Atlantic airline connects Los Angeles with Oslo (twice a week) and London-Gatwick (a daily flight).
