Condor orders six additional A320neo Family aircraft

The German airline Condor has officially secured a deal with BOC Aviation Limited to acquire six aircraft from the Airbus A320neo family. The order consists of four A321neo and two A320neo, set to be leased long-term, with delivery scheduled between 2027 and 2028.

Björn Walther, Condor’s Chief Financial Officer, emphasized: «The successful agreement with BOC Aviation Limited is another crucial step towards becoming the operator of one of Europe’s most modern and efficient fleets. The partnership is extremely significant for us, and we are grateful for the ongoing support and reliable cooperation with our new partner.»

Steven Townend, Deputy CEO and CFO of BOC Aviation, expressed: «We are delighted to collaborate with Condor once again, supporting the growth and rejuvenation of their fleet with these six state-of-the-art aircraft. This transaction expands our portfolio of deliveries of the world’s most advanced airplane models, enabling our company to continue its path of sustainable long-term growth.»

As of now, Condor operates a diverse range of aircraft from different generations, including Airbus 320ceo, A321ceo, A330-900neo, Boeing 757-200, 757-300, and 767-300ER.

This new aircraft order aims to further modernize and standardize Condor’s fleet, transitioning to a 100% Airbus composition: A320neo, A321neo, and A330neo.
