Emirates is expanding its network in East Asia by increasing its operations to South Korea, complementing its daily service. The new frequencies will be operated on Boeing 777-300ERs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Flight EK 324 will depart Dubai at 04:45 and lands at Incheon International Airport at 18:05. The return EK 325 takes off from Seoul at 22:00 and arrives in Dubai at 03:15 the following day.
Emirates’ new services will increase flight capacity between Dubai and Seoul by more than 1,000 seats per week, contributing to the recovery in demand for international travel to one of the most popular destinations in East Asia. The increase in the carrier’s operations is due to the need to add more flights between South Korea and the United Arab Emirates.
The three additional weekly Boeing 777-300ER flights provide 45 tonnes of additional cargo capacity between Dubai and Seoul, strengthening economic activity between South Korea and the United Arab Emirates, as well as Emirates’ other global destinations, contributing to connectivity for imports and exports.
Emirates began operations to Seoul in 2005 and currently operates a daily flight on the Airbus A380 to Dubai. With the additional services, the airline will offer 10 weekly flights to the Korean capital on its flagship Boeing 777-300ER and Airbus A380 aircraft, ensuring customers access to Emirates’ global network of more than 130 destinations through its hub in Dubai.
