easyJet is celebrating its 20th anniversary in Berlin. On April 28, 2004, the low-cost airline’s first aircraft landed at Berlin-Schönefeld Airport from Liverpool. The airline also began flying from Berlin-Tegel in 2018.
The opening of Berliń-Brandenburg was an important development in the long-standing partnership between the airport authority and easyJet. On October 31, 2020, the carrier was one of the first airlines to land at the new Terminal 1 of the German capital’s newest airport and was the first airline to take off at Brandenburg Airport a day later.
easyJet has been supporting the growth of connectivity in the German capital region for 20 years. With its extensive route network, the low-cost airline boosts tourism and business in Berlin and has demonstrated its commitment to Brandenburg Airport through investments such as its maintenance hangar.
In the 2024 summer schedule, the low-cost airline will have services to more than 50 destinations from Berlin-Brandenburg, including new destinations to Antalya, Izmir, Toulouse, Birmingham, and Salerno. There is also a wide range of leisure and business destinations on offer. The most popular easyJet routes are London, Milan, Amsterdam, Paris and Basel.
