Azores Airlines will boost its connectivity between Terceira Island and the United States for the beginning of the winter season. The airline will introduce a new service between Terceira Island and New York starting on October 28, 2024, and will expand the Terceira-Boston route during the winter, as has been the case during this time.
The expansion of international operations is complemented by the reinforcement of the domestic schedule. A weekly flight will be available between Lisbon and Terceira Island, and two weekly flights between Terceira Island and Porto, in response to the increase in demand on these routes.
Azores Airlines is optimizing its services in Porto, reinforcing its offer on domestic flights (Terceira and San Miguel), with the possibility of accessing the airline’s international network to destinations such as Boston.
With this boost in its operation, Azores Airlines will offer next winter a weekly Terceira-Boston frequency, a weekly Terceira-New York frequency and four weekly Terceira-Oporto flights and daily flights between Lisbon and Terceira.
