Delta Expands Tampa-Amsterdam Service to Operate Year-Round

After a five-year absence, Delta Air Lines resumes its year-round nonstop flights between Tampa and Amsterdam. Initially, the seasonal service was extended until May; now, it will be available throughout the year. During the summer season, the service will reduce from daily flights to four weekly flights.

Delta began flying between Tampa and Amsterdam in 2019, but this service was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Given the strong demand, the airline has decided to operate flights year-round between the two destinations. The Dutch capital is the main hub for KLM, Delta’s transatlantic partner, allowing travelers from Tampa to access multiple destinations across Europe.

Flight schedule between Tampa (TPA) and Amsterdam (AMS)

• Flight KL 237: AMS 17:55 – TPA 09:00+1 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
• Flight KL 236: TPA 10:35 – AMS 14:35 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

The flights will continue to be operated with Airbus A330-300 aircraft, which have a capacity of 282 seats: 34 Delta One, 21 Premium Select, 24 Delta Comfort+, and 203 Main Cabin.

Delta operates year-round flights to Amsterdam from Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York-JFK, Salt Lake City, Seattle-Tacoma, and seasonal services to Orlando.

Delta is the fifth airline offering flights between Tampa and Europe, complementing services from British Airways from London-Gatwick, Discover Airlines from Frankfurt, Edelweiss from Zurich, and Virgin Atlantic from London-Heathrow.
