Embraer has become the third manufacturer to adopt Lufthansa Systems’ NetLine/Plan software, a network planning solution that enables OEMs to optimize their sales strategies and provide better support to their customers in making decisions regarding their flight networks.
With NetLine/Plan, Embraer will be able to conduct deeper and more precise internal studies on the profitability of air routes, which not only improves its internal sales and marketing processes but also facilitates the creation of market studies for its customers and potential buyers. The software provides a detailed view of network planning scenarios, helping airlines evaluate the feasibility of new routes, adjust flight frequencies, and allocate the most efficient aircraft for each segment.
NetLine/Plan’s ability to assess the profitability of different flight networks is a key asset for OEMs like Embraer. The software allows for route scenario modeling and analysis of how airlines can optimize their networks to achieve maximum economic performance. Additionally, NetLine/Plan provides a detailed evaluation of each aircraft’s capacity based on specific routes, facilitating the selection of the most suitable aircraft for each operational need.
This detailed analysis of network profitability and efficiency enables Embraer to offer its customers an additional tool to plan the impact of new fleet orders. The solution helps operators make informed decisions about purchasing or leasing aircraft, ensuring that every aircraft in their fleet is being utilized in the most profitable way possible.
“We are pleased to have chosen Lufthansa Systems. The implementation phase has been highly successful, and we have received excellent support from their team. NetLine/Plan allows us to work more closely with our customers, helping them evaluate the profitability of their networks based on a new aircraft order. At the same time, Lufthansa Systems benefits by expanding its business with our customers, who already know and trust the tool for network planning,” commented Rodrigo Silva e Souza, Vice President of Marketing at Embraer.
One of the most notable features of NetLine/Plan is its speed in processing large volumes of data. While other network planning tools may take several minutes or even hours to generate results, NetLine/Plan performs a comprehensive network evaluation in less than 30 seconds. This allows network planners to work much more efficiently, testing multiple scenarios and adapting strategies quickly.
The tool also stands out for its ability to predict route profitability and evaluate different network scenarios with a level of precision and consistency that meets the rigorous standards of today’s aviation industry. This gives manufacturers like Embraer a competitive advantage, as they can provide more accurate and relevant data to their customers, strengthening their business relationships and positioning the company as a strategic partner in the optimization of airline operations.
