LOT Polish Airlines Launches Winter Flights to Cancún from Warsaw and Katowice

On November 14, LOT Polish Airlines began flights to Cancún International Airport (CUN) from Warsaw (WAW) and Katowice (KTW), Poland. These flights are marketed through the Polish agency Rainbow Tours S.A. and will be available during the winter season.

“Air connectivity is fundamental for the development of our state and to continue strengthening tourism, which is one of the main sources of employment and well-being for Quintana Roo families. We applaud the effort of Rainbow and LOT Polish Airlines, and we are committed to continuing to work on opening new routes that expand growth opportunities for everyone,” said the director of the State Tourism Department (Sedetur) of Quintana Roo, Bernardo Cueto Riestra.

Flights from Katowice will operate on Thursdays, and from the Polish capital on Sundays. Operations will run until March 2025, representing a potential of 9,000 Polish tourists in Quintana Roo.

Agreement between LOT Polish and Rainbow

Rainbow has renewed an agreement with LOT Polish to offer packages to popular destinations in the Caribbean, Asia, and Africa during the winter season.

According to the tourism agency, LOT will operate flights to Bangkok, Cancún, Langkawi, Malé, Mauritius, Nosy Be, Phu Quoc, Puerto Plata, Punta Cana, and Phuket.
