Aeroitalia expands its fleet with an Embraer E175 and strengthens regional routes
With the addition of the E175, Aeroitalia aims to adjust its flight offerings to better meet regional transportation needs
Aeroitalia continues to expand its fleet to strengthen its presence in the domestic and international markets. The carrier fleet is composed of a combination of aircraft designed to meet different operational needs:
Boeing 737-800 (9 units): These aircraft, with a capacity for 189 passengers, operate on short- and medium-haul routes, covering domestic and international destinations.
Boeing 737-400 (2 units): Used by Aeroitalia Regional, these aircraft provide services on more specific routes with lower demand.
Airbus A319-100 (1 unit): Operated in collaboration with Fly Air41 Airways, this model is assigned to selected international routes.
ATR 72-600 (2 units): These aircraft, with a capacity for 68 passengers, are designed for short-distance flights, particularly at small airports.
Embraer E175 (1 unit): This aircraft, leased from Marathon Airlines, was recently added and operates key routes such as Comiso-Perugia and Comiso-Rome. With a capacity for 88 passengers, it enhances regional connectivity within Italy.
The diversification of the fleet allows Aeroitalia to operate routes from secondary airports, connecting Italian cities such as Bologna, Cuneo, Parma, and Lamezia Terme.
