The Embraer 190, registration LV-CID, has become the third aircraft of this model to receive the Aerolíneas Argentinas livery, signifying another step toward the full integration of Austral Líneas Aéreas’ fleet under the state airline’s branding.
A Job Performed at FAdeA
On Saturday, January 11, the LV-CID arrived at Ezeiza International Airport at 1:30 p.m. as flight AR1041, following its repainting process at the Argentine Aircraft Factory (FAdeA) in Córdoba. The project included replacing the Austral Líneas Aéreas livery with the distinctive design of Aerolíneas Argentinas.
FAdeA, a longstanding partner of Aerolíneas Argentinas, has successfully completed multiple projects for the airline, highlighting its importance as a strategic collaborator.
Upon arrival in Ezeiza, the aircraft was transferred to Aerolíneas Argentinas’ hangar 5 to undergo maintenance tasks before returning to regular operations. These procedures ensure compliance with the highest technical and safety standards before the aircraft resumes service.
A Fleet in Transition
Currently, 22 Embraer 190 aircraft continue to operate with the Austral Líneas Aéreas livery, while one retains the SkyTeam alliance scheme, which Aerolíneas Argentinas has been part of since 2012. The incorporation of this third aircraft in the updated livery strengthens the company’s unified identity and simplifies fleet management.
The integration of the Embraer 190 fleet into Aerolíneas Argentinas’ corporate design has both visual and operational impacts. It enhances the brand’s presence at airports across the country and the region, while streamlining maintenance processes and reinforcing the airline’s image as a cohesive, modern carrier.
