    airBaltic starts non-stop flights between Riga and Alicante. In total, for the 2024/2025 winter schedule, the airline will provide 13 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius and Tampere, including direct services from the Gran Canaria seasonal base to 10 northern Euroṕa airports.

    Flight BT 689 was operated by an Airbus A220 registered as YL-AAR. The aircraft took off from Riga Airport at 12:45 local time and landed at Elche Miguel Hernandez Airport after three hours and 50 minutes.

    Flight schedule between Riga and Alicante

    • Riga – Alicante Flight BT 689 RIX 12:40 – ALC 15:55 Tuesday and Saturday.
    • Alicante – Riga Flight BT 690 ALC 16:55 – RIX 22:00 Tuesday and Saturday.

    The flights are operated by Airbus A220-300 aircraft with capacity between 145-148 passengers and the promotional fares are from 149 euros (GREEN) and 359 euros (Business Light).

    Alicante is airBaltic’s eighth destination in Spain, complementing Malaga, Barcelona, Gran Canaria, Tenerife-South, Madrid, Valencia and Palma de Mallorca.

    airBaltic operates more than 100 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere and Gran Canaria (seasonally) providing connections to a wide range of destinations in the airline’s route network in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Caucasus region.
