Norwegian announced its summer schedule for 2025, which includes three new routes to Spain, out of seventeen announced, departing from Riga (Latvia), Stockholm/Arlanda (Sweden), and Oslo/Gardermoen (Norway).
«Summer vacations are something everyone looks forward to, and we are delighted to offer new and exciting destinations. From the UK, we are introducing direct routes to vibrant European cities. As the summer months are a busy travel period, we encourage customers to plan and book their holidays in advance to secure a seat,» said Magnus Thome Maursund, Chief Commercial Officer of Norwegian.
New Norwegian routes in Spain
- Riga (RIX) – Alicante (ALC): year-round service with two weekly flights (Wednesdays and Saturdays).
- Oslo/Gardermoen (OSL) – Valencia (VLC): starts June 21, 2025, and runs until August 16, with one weekly flight (Saturdays).
- Stockholm/Arlanda (ARN) – Bilbao (BIO): begins June 14, 2025, through August 16, with two weekly flights (Tuesdays and Saturdays).
Norwegian is the ninth-largest airline in Spain in terms of passenger traffic, having transported 3,992,792 passengers between January and October, according to AENA Statistics.
The Norwegian low-cost carrier flies to Alicante, Barcelona, Ibiza (seasonally in summer), Lanzarote, Madrid, Málaga, Palma de Mallorca, Tenerife/South, Valencia, and, starting in 2025, Bilbao.
