The Resistencia International Airport, located in the capital of the province of Chaco, was certified by the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC) after meeting the safety protocols established by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
This recognition, granted under the Argentine Civil Aviation Regulation (RAAC) Part 139, ensures that the airport complies with international standards for aerodromes used in international operations. According to ANAC, the evaluation process covered areas such as infrastructure, rescue and firefighting services, wildlife hazard management, and the implementation of a comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS).
