United States to accept vaccine combination
The United States will accept the combination of vaccines approved by both the FDA and WHO. This is in addition to the authorization granted by the White House for the entry of foreigners with full vaccination as of November 8. The measure is applicable both by air and land.

In other words, those vaccinated with, for instance, the first dose of Sinopharm and a second dose of Pfizer or vice versa are authorized to enter the United States.
This new CDC definition allows the admission of those vaccinated with mixed schemes, and eventually opens the possibility of authorizing the entry into the United States of those vaccinated with the first dose of Sputnik V and the second dose of Moderna, a combination that was extensively used in the progress of the vaccination campaign in Argentina. The WHO expects to include the Gamaleya laboratory’s vaccine in the Emergency Use list by the end of 2021.
The measure was adopted on the basis of the new concept of complete vaccination defined by the CDC. This concept now also considers two doses from different laboratories. However, from the outset, the institution did not support the idea of mixing vaccines and still does not recommend it as a treatment.
