On May 27, Viva received a new Airbus A320neo, being the seventh of the model delivered by the lessor Aviation Capital Group to the Colombian ultra low-cost.
The new aircraft was nicknamed as «Volaré, oh oh ????», following the pattern of naming its aircraft with effusive names. This aircraft, with CFM International LEAP-1A engines, was delivered as part of a long-term transaction between Aviation Capital Group LLC (ACG) and the airline, that encompasses 28 other units of the same model.
The first NEO was received in October 2020, and since then Viva has received one aircraft per month: HK-5352 «Boomerang», HK-5353 «I ♡ Viva», HK-5360 «Hasta la Viva, baby ????», HK -5361 «Rayo McViva ⚡», HK-5365 «Yellow Submarine», HK-5367 «Volaré, oh oh ????», HK-5368 «Waffles».
The company recently completed nine years of history and seeks to strengthen the low-cost segment in the region with this acquisition.
