Peru will begin to allow air connections with the United Kingdom, while flights from Brazil and South Africa will continue to be suspended. India, the main focus of the pandemic today, was also affected by this measure.
Initially, the suspension of flights to these countries would have between the 16 and 31 of May, as established by Ministerial Resolution No. 461-2021-MTC / 01.
Resolucion Ministerial 461 vuelosThe entry to Peru of non-resident foreigners from South Africa, Brazil or India, or passengers who have made a stopover in those places in the last fourteen days, is also suspended until May 31.
Those passengers on international flights traveling to Peru must present a negative molecular or antigen test for Covid-19, which results have been issued up to 72 hours before the flight. Previously, they must also complete the Affidavit of Health and Geolocation Authorization.
Upon arrival in Peru, passengers can repeat the tests and if it is negative they are not required to quarantine.
