United Airlines is returning to several destinations in Europe for the summer season in the northern hemisphere, based on the degree of openness to international tourism in different countries.
To the already announced flights to Athens (ATH) in Greece, Dubrovnik (DBV) in Croatia and Reykjavik (KEF) in Iceland,Madrid (MAD) and Barcelona (BCN) would be added as of July 3 and 10, according to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium and reconfirmed through United’s reservation system (we also contacted the airline to obtain a comment on this information, but at the time of publication of this note we have not received a response).
Although Spain still does not allow the entry of non-EU travelers, the government expressed its intentions to enable tourism to those who are vaccinated against COVID-19, in line with the plans being studied by the European Union.
