Frontier Airlines announced an aggressive expansion of 41 new routes to its network for the next winter season in the northern hemisphere, two of them will be to the state of Quintana Roo in Mexico.
The ultra low cost has routes focused in Cancun and Cozumel to different cities in the center and the east coast of the United States.
And what was announced is not far from it, since it will have a connection from Atlanta (ATL) to Cancun (CUN) and from Orlando (MCO) to Cozumel (CZM).
The Atlanta flight will begin on November 2 with four weekly operations, joining the current Cancun connections with Cleveland, Cincinnati, Denver, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Newark, Miami, Orlando, Chicago / O’Hare, Philadelphia and St. Louis.
On the other hand, the service to Cozumel will begin on November 6 with a weekly flight, joining the current links to Denver and Chicago / O’Hare.
«Today’s announcement marks one of our largest international expansions and we are delighted to now offer our customers affordable service to four most popular destinations that offer sun and fun,» said Daniel Shurz, Senior Vice President of Commerce for Frontier Airlines.
«The summer of 2021 has led to phenomenal growth for Frontier and this announcement of 20 new routes comes immediately after the 21 we introduced last week,» he concluded.
