Aerolineas Argentinas to fly new routes in Argentina

On March 16 last year, Aerolineas Argentinas carried out its last regular operations between Cordoba and Tucuman. The flights were operated on Boeing 737-700s, and had to be suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its restrictions.

Since then Tucuman has only flights to and from Buenos Aires. Prior to the Coronavirus, it was connected to Córdoba and Lima, in addition to Aeroparque, El Palomar and Ezeiza, through LATAM, Flybondi and JetSMART.

Aerolineas Argentinas will resume operations in September on several routes from Cordoba, Mendoza, Rosario and Salta. Among these connections is the Cordoba – Tucumán route, which will resume services as from September 6.

The airline will have, for the time being, two weekly flights between both cities. With this schedule of operations, Aerolineas Argentinas will offer 192 seats per week between Cordoba and Tucuman and vice versa.

As COVID-19 restrictions become more flexible and demand increases, the company will increase its flight frequency on the aforementioned route. Until March 2020, Aerolíneas Argentinas had one daily operation.
