LATAM resumes regular flights to Aeroparque Airport

Due to the ease of COVID-19 restrictions in Argentina, LATAM has been authorized to resume scheduled operations at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery on October 19th. The airline will fly from Sao Paulo and Santiago de Chile, two of the company’s most important hubs in Latin America.

LATAM will carry out these operations with the Airbus A320-200 and Airbus A320neo, with a capacity for 174 or 180 passengers.

During September and early October, LATAM had special flights to Aeroparque, particularly for passengers stranded in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and/or Peru.

• Sao Paulo (GRU) – Aeroparque (AEP) – Sao Paulo (GRU): Airbus A320
• Santiago de Chile (SCL) – Aeroparque (AEP) – Santiago de Chile (SCL): Airbus A320

Lima, for the moment, will not have LATAM flights at Aeroparque Airport.

As a consequence of the current regulation, international operations by any airline to and from Aeroparque Jorge Newbery will be allowed for point-to-point flights, so passengers are not able to fly a second leg within the same ticket (Example: Aeroparque – Sao Paulo – Miami is not authorized).

Therefore, LATAM will maintain regional connections at Ezeiza Airport, with flights from Lima, Sao Paulo, and Santiago de Chile.
