Avelo Airlines inaugurated this Wednesday (3) its new operating base in the United States. The airline will provide flights to the State of Florida from New Haven, Connecticut.
The carrier will establish its Boeing 737-700 aircraft at this airport. These aircraft are configured with 147 seats in a single class.
Avelo Airlines’ new destinations are Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando and Tampa, all departing from and arriving in New Haven. Between the four routes, it will have 16 operations per week in each leg.
- Fort Lauderdale (FLL): 5 weekly flights – November 5th
- Fort Myers (RSW): 2 weekly flights – November 11th
- Orlando (MCO): 6 weekly flights – November 3rd
- Tampa (TPA): 3 weekly flights – November 8th
In December, Avelo will inaugurate its fifth route from its New Haven base. In addition, on January 13th, 2022, it will begin flying to Sarasota.
- West Palm Beach (PBI): daily flight – December 16th
- Sarasota (SRQ): 3 weekly flights – January 13th

The New Haven operations are being added to the current ones at Burbank, Avelo Airlines’ first base in the United States. According to the Cirium aeronautical intelligence platform, the airline has nine destinations from the aforementioned airport.
