Aerolíneas Argentinas extends its operations between Cordoba and Mar del Plata

On January 1st, Aerolíneas Argentinas inaugurated its seasonal flights between Córdoba and Mar del Plata. The company has four weekly operations in Embraer 190 and Boeing 737-800, with capacity for 96 and 170 passengers respectively.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Córdoba – Mar del Plata route was regular throughout the year, unlike Mendoza, Rosario and Tucumán, which have seasonal operations. Furthermore, the carrier operated the «Atlantic Corridor» (or Corredor Atlántico as it is called in Spanish), connecting Mar del Plata with Bahía Blanca, Comodoro Rivadavia, Trelew and Ushuaia.

In 2021 Aerolíneas Argentinas had flights to Córdoba in the summer, suspending them at the end of February. Due to this, Buenos Aires was left as the only regular off-season destination for Mar del Plata city.

As before the Coronavirus, Buenos Aires and Córdoba will be the company’s routes to and from Mar del Plata from April onwards.
