Aeromar and Copa Airlines celebrated the renewal of their interline agreement, making it easier for customers to book travel itineraries on a single ticket, under the same baggage policy, and with consistent fare conditions.

Copa Airlines operates more than 90 weekly flights between Panama and the cities of Mexico City, Cancun, Monterrey, and Guadalajara on Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-9 aircraft.

From these cities there are connections with Aeromar to Acapulco (ACA), Aguascalientes (AGU), Ciudad Victoria (CVM), Colima (CLQ), Mazatlan (MZT), Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo (ZIH), Ixtepec (IZT), Piedras Negras (PDS), Puerto Escondido (PXM), Puerto Vallarta (PVR), San Luis de Potosí (SLP), Tepic (TPQ), Villahermosa (VSA) and Veracruz (VER), as well as international flights to Laredo (LRD) and McAllen (MFE) in the United States; Havana (HAV) in Cuba; and Flores/Tikal (FRS) in Guatemala.

Tickets can be purchased through Copa Airlines or travel agencies.

«At Copa Airlines, we are excited to be able to maintain this extensive offering hand-in-hand with Aeromar to important domestic destinations in Mexico and beyond. With this partnership, we remain committed to continuing strengthening the Hub of the Americas, reaffirming our position as one of the leading airlines in the region,» said Mauro Arredondo, general manager of Copa Airlines in Mexico.

«Aeromar is proud to endorse its interline partnership with Copa Airlines, Latin America’s leading airline recognized for its service excellence and wide range of connections at its Hub of the Americas in Panama,» added Fabricio Cojuc, Aeromar’s director of Network Strategy and Alliances.

Aeromar is a strategic partner for Star Alliance in Mexico, with agreements with United Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, and Air Canada. In addition, in 2021 it signed an interline partnership with Emirates and Iberia.

«The preferential connectivity agreement reaffirms our high-quality standards and strengthens our portfolio of interline agreements with world-class airlines,» Cojuc concluded.
