Argentina: Updated entry requirements

Gastón Sena

This Saturday, January 29th, the new requirements for entry into Argentina by land, sea, and air came into force. The new Administrative Decision published in the Official Gazette will eliminate the PCR test that had to be performed within 72 hours prior to entering the Argentine territory for residents and nationals who present a complete vaccination schedule.

The Administrative Decision also contains modifications for visitors from neighboring countries. In addition, it incorporates -for those travelers with an incomplete scheme or non-resident foreigners from non-bordering countries- the possibility of performing an antigen test 48 hours before the beginning of the entry trip.

In the last six weeks, airlines reported a number of cases among their aeronautical employees, causing some cancellations and rescheduling.
