As published by the Department of Defense, a total of 228 Ospreys of the Marine Corps (USMC) MV-22B, Navy (USN) CMV-22 and Air Force (USAF) CV-22 models are involved.

Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (97%); and Ridley Park, Pennsylvania (3%). Work is expected to be completed by December 2026.

The Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey is an assault transport for troops, equipment and supplies, capable of operating from ships in amphibious assault operations or from expeditionary airfields ashore.

The USN CMV-22B replaces the C-2A Greyhound for the Carrier Onboard Delivery (COD) mission. Its mission is to transport high-priority personnel, supplies and cargo from shore bases to aircraft carriers at sea.
