American Airlines to suspend flights between Dallas and Santiago de Chile

American Airlines currently offers flights to Santiago de Chile from Dallas, Miami and New York, three of its most important hubs in the United States.

Miami has seven weekly services, while Dallas and New York have three. Considering all three routes, American has almost two daily frequencies to and from the Chilean capital.

According to the Cirium aeronautical intelligence platform, American Airlines will operate its last flight between Dallas and Santiago de Chile on May 3rd. In contrast to previous years, the aforementioned route will not be operated during the off-season.

American is scheduled to resume the Dallas – Santiago route at late October with a daily frequency on the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, with capacity for 234 passengers.
