TUI Airways began its first operation to Orlando-Melbourne Airport (MLB) from Manchester (MAN) on March 22 with a five times weekly service, the first flight landing with 300 passengers aboard a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.

This will be the first of eight transatlantic services to be operated by the British leisure airline on the Orlando (MLB), after 2 years without flights to Florida. TUI will offer 10,200 seats per week on 34 operations at Melbourne Airport, USA (MLB).

According to information gathered through Cirium, Google Flights and TUI’s booking system, the company will offer 8 destinations in the United Kingdom with flights to Orlando Melbourne (MLB) during the summer season, all will be operated by 300-seat Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner in two classes (47 Premium Economy/253 Economy).
- Doncaster Sheffield (DSA) once a week starting March 27.
- Birmingham (BHX) twice weekly from March 28.
- London Gatwick (LGW) three times weekly from March 28.
- Glasgow (GLA) twice weekly from 2 May.
- Bristol (BRS) twice weekly from May 4.
- Newcastle (NCL) twice weekly from May 6.
- Edinburgh (EDI) once a week from 30 June.
Service to Manchester is reduced from five to four times a week.
Orlando is one of the main tourist destinations for British travelers in Florida, United States, according to data obtained by Aviacionline through Civil Authority Aviation UK (CAA) in 2019 1,552,408 passengers were mobilized between UK and Orlando.
