As of April 11, Delta Air Lines resumed services between Minneapolis (MSP) and London Heathrow (LHR) with daily flights operated on Airbus A330-200s with upgraded cabin classes. The carrier’s last operation occurred in March 2020.

Beginning May 5, the company will increase capacity on the route by changing aircraft operating Boeing 767-400ER 238-seat Boeing 767-400ERs in three classes that include the new Delta One Suites products. The Atlanta-based carrier is the only airline to connect Minnesota to the British capital.
According to data obtained by Aviacionline through UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in 2019 between Minneapolis (MSP) and London Heathrow (LHR) moved 136,000 passengers, with the British capital the third largest European long-haul market to Minnesota, behind only Amsterdam (AMS) and Paris (CDG).
Delta continues to build its transatlantic network as passenger demand picks up from Minneapolis (MSP), the airline will offer four nonstop European destinations and offer 19,291 seats per week on seventy-six aircraft operations, plus partners KLM and Air France will offer service to Minnesota again.
