Delta Airlines has announced the first routes to be flown by its new state-of-the-art Airbus A321neo aircraft, the first model arrived in Atlanta last week and tickets will soon be on sale from the company’s website.
Flights operated by the A321neo are initially scheduled from the East Coast hub in Boston (BOS) with transcontinental destinations to San Francisco (SFO), Seattle – Tacoma (SEA), San Diego (SAN) and Denver (DEN).
«Boston is getting the latest and greatest from Delta with this new state-of-the-art Airbus A321neo,» said Joe Esposito, Delta’s senior vice president of network planning.
«As we continue to build Boston as a major hub and international gateway, we are committed to offering customers superior products and experiences like these, along with meaningful choices and greater convenience when making their travel plans,» added Esposito.
Delta’s new narrowbody aircraft features its new First Class Domestic product with enhanced and larger privacy space, customers will also be able to enjoy the company’s entertainment service, fast streaming Wi-Fi access and USB ports.
The Airbus A321neo is powered by Pratt & Whitney GTF engines, this new aircraft offers 20% greater fuel efficiency than its A321ceo predecessor. With the continued fleet renewal, Delta continues to reinforce its leadership as an industry leader in environmental sustainability.

Delta’s Airbus A321neo aircraft will be configured for 194 seats in 20 First Class, 42 in Delta Comfort+ and 132 in Main Cabin. The company has purchase commitments for a total of 155 units of this model.
Leadership at Logan Airport
Delta is Boston’s No. 1 global carrier (BOS) and will operate up to 155 daily nonstop flights to 53 destinations this summer season, a 20% increase over pre-pandemic offerings. By mid-August, the carrier will offer service to the top 20 markets from Logan Airport (BOS).
Delta will also include the launch of new routes to Tel Aviv (TLV), Athens (ATH), Baltimore (BWI), San Diego (SAN) and Denver (DEN).
