On Thursday (26) at 5:56 p.m. local time, the inaugural Avelo flight took off from New Haven to Chicago-Midway. The airline will have four weekly operations on Boeing 737-700s configured for 147 passengers.
Avelo Airlines will offer 588 seats per week between New Haven and Chicago and vice versa.
Chicago is Avelo’s 13th destination from New Haven, its second U.S. base.
