Starting in June, Air Europa will increase its operations to the United States, the company will increase its flights to Miami (MIA) and New York (JFK) from its hub in Madrid (MAD).
The Globalia group airline will offer 6,758 seats per week in 22 flight operations between Spain and the US.

- Flight UX 97 MAD 15:25 – MIA 18:45 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Flight UX 98 MIA 21:30 – MAD 12:05+1 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
According to data compiled by Aviacionline through Aena Statistics indicate that 720,623 passengers and 17,941.7 tons of cargo were mobilized in 2,865 air operations in 2019, it was the second busiest route between Spain and the United States.
Madrid (MAD) – New York (JFK)
- Flight UX 91 MAD 15:35 – JFK 17:45 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Flight UX 92 JFK 22:05 – MAD 11:20+1 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
According to data obtained through Aena Statistics, prior to the pandemic between Madrid (MAD) and New York (JFK), 1,031,183 passengers and 20,294.3 tons of cargo were moved in 3,836 air operations, it was the largest long-haul route of Adolfo Suarez International Airport (MAD).
All the company’s flights will be operated on Boeing 787-8/-9 Dreamliner aircraft with seating capacity of 296 and 339 respectively, the company continues to restore its transatlantic operations as travel demand recovers.
Air Europa will soon acquire several wide-body and narrow-body aircraft under lease to continue to expand frequencies on its existing routes.
