This Friday (24) at 9:51 a.m. local time, the first Air New Zealand flight to Queenstown took off from Melbourne. Operations had been suspended since mid-2021.
Air New Zealand will have seven weekly services during the peak season. With this schedule, the airline will offer 1.175 seats per week on each leg.
The carrier’s flights between Melbourne and Queenstown will be operated on Airbus A320-200 and Airbus A320neo aircraft, with a capacity of 165 passengers.
