Emirates inaugurates flights to Tel Aviv

Emirates Airline’s inaugural flight to Tel Aviv took off from Dubai this Thursday (23). The company will operate with Boeing 777-300(ER) aircraft, configured for 354 passengers in three seating classes.

According to the reservation system, Emirates will offer one daily frequency between the two cities, providing 2,478 seats per week on each leg.

The airline’s first flight to Tel Aviv departed Dubai with 335 passengers on board, an occupancy rate of 94,6%.

Israel’s Minister of Transport and Road Safety MK Merav Michaeli said:

Our new service will provide tourism, trade and business opportunities».

  • Emirates (EK): 7 weekly flight – Boeing 777-300(ER)
  • Flydubai (FZ): 28 weekly flight – Boeing 737 MAX 8

El Al resumed flights between the two cities on Thursday, June the 23rd, after a nearly two-month suspension.
