Emirates to stop flying with Airbus A380 aircraft to Sao Paulo temporarily

Emirates is currently the only airline to operate to and from Latin America (Sao Paulo) on Airbus A380-800s. The company’s aircraft have a configuration for 516 passengers in three seating classes.

Flights to the Brazilian city with the Airbus A380s began in March 2017. Due to restrictions due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Emirates resumed operations to Sao Paulo on the aforementioned aircraft in November 2021.

As announced by our partner AEROIN, the airline will stop flying between Dubai and Sao Paulo on the Airbus A380-800. According to the reservation system, the last flight will be on August 3rd.

Emirates will resume services to Guarulhos with the 356-seat Boeing 777-300(ER). This change means a reduction of 160 places per flight.

Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro, destinations suspended by the pandemic in March 2020, will resume flights as of November 2nd.
