LEVEL, IAG’s low-cost, long-haul airline, and Qatar Airways have signed a codeshare agreement to offer the Qatar airline’s customers more options to destinations in the United States.

This new partnership is a further step in the existing agreements between Qatar Airways and other IAG airlines such as British Airways, Iberia and Vueling.

With the establishment of this codeshare, LEVEL’s U.S. destinations can now be booked through Qatar Airways.

As mentioned, the low-cost carrier has five destinations from Barcelona (BCN):

  • Boston (BOS), United States; three weekly flights.
  • Los Angeles (LAX), United States; four weekly flights.
  • New York (JFK), United States; six weekly flights.
  • San Francisco (SFO), United States; four weekly flights.

According to the statement, Qatar Airways and LEVEL will extend the codeshare to flights between Barcelona and Buenos Aires in a second phase.

All flights are operated on Airbus A330-200 aircraft with a capacity of 314 passengers, configured with 21 seats in premium economy and 293 in economy.

With this codeshare, Qatar Airways’ customers benefit from a simpler process for purchasing connecting flights through any of the airline’s sales channels, simplifying ticketing, check-in, boarding and baggage check-in.

In addition, members of Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club loyalty program will also be able to earn Avios on all LEVEL-operated codeshare flights.
