Seattle receives seventh non-stop flight from Canada

On May 31 Seattle (SEA) received its seventh Canadian service with the inauguration of Air Canada’s new flight from Montreal (YUL). Flight AC 515 took off from Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport at 18:58 local time and landed at Tacoma Airport at 21:44.

With the arrival of new service from Quebec’s main city, SEA increases its offerings to Canada to seven destinations where it also offers non-stop flights to Toronto (YYZ), Vancouver (YVR), Calgary (YYC), Kelowna (YLW), Victoria (YYJ) and Edmonton (YEG).

Montreal (YUL) is one of Air Canada’s main hubs, with the airline’s new operation to Seattle (SEA), it will offer travelers new options to fly to Europe and Eastern Canada.

As COVID’s recovery continues, demand for international air travel this summer is increasing and travelers in our region are eager for this flight,” said Lance Lyttle, general manager of SEA Airport.

Air Canada will operate this route on Airbus A220-300 aircraft with 137 seats in two classes (12 Business Class/125 Economy), the first international service of this model at Seattle (SEA).

  • Montreal – Seattle Flight AC 515 YUL 19:55 – SEA 23:02 daily flights.
  • Seattle – Montreal Flight AC 514 SEA 07:30 – YUL 15:30 flights daily.

“The route will make it easier for business leaders in the Puget Sound area to connect with the innovative and vibrant business ecosystem of Montreal, Canada’s second largest city, the world’s third largest aerospace cluster and the largest concentration of high-tech industry in Canada,” said Canadian Consul General Mia Yen.

Canada is one of Seattle – Tacoma’s largest international markets.

Data obtained through Cirium platform indicates that during the 2022 boreal summer season between Seattle (SEA) and Canada there will be a supply of 31,640 seats per week, where Alaska Airlines is the main operator in the market, the airline schedule in this segment is as follows:
