On Thursday, June 9th at 10:27 p.m. local time, United Airlines’ inaugural Tenerife-Sur flight departed Newark (EWR). Operations will be carried out on Boeing 757-200s, with a capacity for 169 passengers.
The airline will have three weekly operations between the two cities, offering 507 seats per week on each leg.
Tenerife recovers its non-stop connection with the United States after a 12-year absence of service. Previously, Air Europa operated summer flights between Miami and Tenerife-Norte with Airbus A330 aircraft.

United Airlines will fly between Newark and Tenerife until September the 29th, according to the Cirium platform. These operations will be available during the summer.
