Aeromar will start three new non-stop services from Merida (MID) by the end of August, operations include flights to Chetumal (CTM), Cozumel (CZM) and Havana (HAV). Tickets are already available for sale through the company’s website.
According to data obtained by Aviacionline through the Cirium platform, the Mexican airline will offer 1,008 seats per week in 14 air operations at Manuel Crescencio Rejon International Airport (MID), Aeromar will be the fourth domestic operator with the largest capacity in the capital of the state of Yucatan.

Chetumal (CTM)
Flights start on August 22 with three weekly flights and promotional fares starting at MXN 799 each way.
- Merida – Chetumal Flight VW 641 MID 12:30 – CTM 13:40 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
- Chetumal – Merida Flight VW 640 CTM 10:20 – MID 11.30 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Cozumel (CZM)
Flights start on August 21 with two flights per week and promotional fares from MXN 799 each way.
- Merida – Cozumel Flight VW 654 MID 14:35 – CZM 15:50 Thursday and Sunday.
- Cozumel – Merida Flight VW 653 CZM 16:20 – MID 17:35 Thursday and Sunday.
Havana (HAV)
Flights start on August 22 with two flights per week and promotional fares from MXN 2835 each way. This will be the airline’s only international service at Manuel Crescencio Rejon International Airport (MID) and the second route in the Cuban capital. Aeromar is the second Mexican carrier to offer non-stop flights between Cuba and the Yucatan capital.
- Merida – Havana Flight VW 7942 MID 18:20 – HAV 20:40 Wednesday and Sunday.
- Havana – Merida Flight VW 7943 HAV 12:30 – MID 13:50 Wednesday and Sunday.
All services will be operated in ATR 72-600 aircraft with a capacity of 72 seats in single configuration.
According to data compiled through Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (ASUR) statistics indicate that for the first half of 2022, Merida has mobilized 331,043 passengers, this represents an increase of 1.1% over the same period in 2019.
