Qatar Airways resumes operations to Qassim (ELQ) with three weekly flights starting August 22, the carrier’s fifth destination in Saudi Arabia. The airline will increase this route from September 2 to four flights per week.
Flight Itinerary
- Doha – Qassim Flight QR 1196 DOH 16:35 – ELQ 18:30 Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
- Qassim – Doha Flight QR 1197 ELQ 19:30 – DOH 21:05 Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
Flights will be operated on Airbus A320ceo aircraft with 144 seats in two classes (12 Business Class/132 Economy) and promotional fares are available from USD 222 one way.
Passengers flying to and from Qassim will enjoy connectivity to more than 150 destinations offered by Qatar Airways in the Americas, Asia, Africa and Europe through its hub at Hamad International Airport (DOH).
The Doha-based airline will also increase its services to Riyadh (RUH) from August 18 by adding four weekly flights, bringing its operation to 20 weekly flights.
According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, Qatar Airways will offer 45,161 seats per week and 202 air operations in Saudi Arabia to five destinations, making it the third largest international airline operator in the Kingdom.

- Dammam (DMM) five daily flights on Airbus A320, Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
- Qassim (ELQ) four weekly flights on Airbus A320.
- Jeddah (JED) four daily flights on Airbus A320 and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
- Medina (MED) two daily flights on Airbus A320.
- Riyadh (RUH) 20 flights per week on Airbus A320, Airbus A350-900/-100, Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
