Aviacionline was present in Group 10, in what was the deployment of the fleet of the Chilean Air Force, which then passed through the ellipse of Parque O’higgins, where (with very few exceptions) is held every September 19 the Military Parade in honor of the Glories of the Army in the middle of Chile’s national holidays.
One of the novelties on parade, which was eagerly awaited by enthusiasts and the public, was the recently acquired Boeing E3-D Sentry AW-1, replacing the already mythical Boeing EB-707 «Condor», which has reached the end of its useful life.
In the same line, the F-16 and F-5 of the FACh also paraded.
Also present at the parade was the CASA (Airbus) A-36 Toqui, an aircraft that will be retired by the Chilean Air Force in December of this year.
Also present were the UH-1H, Bell 412 and Black Hawk helicopters of the FACh, all supported by the Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker, recently arrived from the United States where it underwent maintenance.
Upon arrival, once they made their descent and subsequent landing at the Comodoro Arturo Merino Benitez Airport, where FACh Group 10 is located, we were able to observe the KC-130 and C-130 Hercules:
We would like to thank the Communications and PR Department of the Chilean Air Force, who kindly extended the invitation to be part of this deployment.
