Air Canada has scheduled two new cross-border services to the United States from Halifax (YHZ) and Vancouver (YVR) this winter: both routes will be available year-round. These flights will increase connectivity and the possibility to connect through the global network of Air Canada and its commercial partner United Airlines.
«With these new Halifax and Vancouver services, Air Canada is responding to demand in these important markets and leveraging its enhanced cross-border partnership with United Airlines to consolidate its preferred market position in Canada and the United States,» said Mark Galardo, senior vice president – Network Planning and Revenue Management, Air Canada.
Including the two new services, the 2023 summer schedule on the Canadian airline’s cross-border network will have increased 6% compared to 2019 levels. The company currently flies into 47 airports in the U.S. from its main hubs and several secondary cities in Canada.
