Wingo and Ultra Air requested to Colombian aviation authority Aerocivil new scheduled passenger routes between Colombia and Venezuela with 3rd and 4th freedom traffic rights for both companies.
Wingo’s request
- Bogota (BOG) – Maracaibo (MAR) – Bogota (BOG) 7 weekly flights.
- Barranquilla (BAQ) – Bogotá (BOG) – Barranquilla (BAQ) 7 weekly flights.
The requested services will be operated in Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft.
Wingo has yet to restart its services to Venezuela, the company has scheduled to fly: Bogota (BOG) – Caracas (CCS) with 3-4 flights per week; Medellin (MDE) – Caracas (CCS) three flights per week; and Bogota (BOG) – Valencia (VLN) two flights per week.
Wingo becomes the second Colombian carrier to formally apply for service to Maracaibo (MAR).

Ultras Air aviso adición al permiso de operación (1)Ultra Air currently has no international operations and is the fourth Colombian airline to request services to Venezuela and the first airline to request services from Colombia to Maracaibo (MAR), Porlamar (PMV) and Barcelona (BLA).
